So I have been reading what a lot of people have been posting in regard to contracts of certain players. And after reading the articles Play Money on here this is what I cam up with. Miller and Troy each get probably 2 or 3 year contracts for around 4-7 mil a year. this woudl allow the Steelers to draft to fill other needs for the next 2 drafts and then draft a S and or TE top 2 picks. Ike will simply take a pay cut to stay here, he doesn't want to play any where else and he knows not that many teams woudl really want a 34 year old CB that can only play in a certain scheme. Tough pill for Steeler fans to take but it will probably happen. Hood may stay over Keisel but Hood won't get a long term deal. Probably the same has Mclendon did a 3 or 4 year deal, that is cheap to get away from. Ryan Clark is gone, and probably will be on the NFL network next year. Pouncey will be traded to Jacksonville, Mia, or SD all of those teams have needs and money for Pouncey. To me the Steelers will want to give new contracts to Gilbert, DeCastro, and Beachum next year. From what I have read Pouncey wants to play in the warm weather and or want to play with his brother. Woodley is a tough call, when he is healthy he is a force but much like Pouncey he is hurt way too much. I think he has enough left in the tank that some team would trade a conditional pick for him. That would free up about 14 Mil a year for the next 3 years. If all that happens that would free up around 40 mil. That shoudl be enough to sign Allen, Brown (the DB), Gilbert, DeCastro, Beachum, and set aside future money for Bell and all the other great players we will draft.
