So the combine and all of its glory is over, my thoughts are in no particular order the top 10 will be made up of the following. 4 QB's, 3 OT's, Sammy Watkins, Clowney, and K. Mack. Picks 11-14 are up in the air Barr has to go but who else, and who is on the board when we are up @ 15? Back to my title what if Gilbert, Mosley and DD (the cb from Mich ST) are gone? IMO we shouldn't take a WR orTE @ 15, I would trade down but not lower than #25 and get a 3rd &5th pick for the move. If we move down I would take any position of need, that is pretty much every position but QB, OT, and RG. The main 3 players I would target would be;
Louis Nix, yes he may only play 2 downs in the base D but short yard and in 3-4 D you need a true NT he is worth the pick, also let us move Mclendon to DE.
C. Pryor S from Louisville, replace Clark and a day 1 starter. S Thomas more of nickle amd in the box type safety, Thomas may replace Troy in a year or 2. Pryor and Thomas could be a good young combo with Allen giving us 3 of 4 young starters.
K.Benjamin, just a freak a ton of size more than enough speed. He could really free up Brown on the other side.
Round 2&3 no matter how many picks we have they are the same has #1. We need help on every level on D, a WR, TE and a swing guy on the OL.
Side note, me personally I would package and trade Pouncey,Adams & pick 15 to the Dolphins for thier 1,2,4&6 round picks this year and thier #3 year. Reasoning swapping picks cost MIA 1,4&6 Pouncey is worth #2 and part of the #3 next year. Adams is worth part of the future #3, the Dolphins would then have the Pouncey wall @LG and C and Adams @ RT. Also if we aren't going to give Pouncey a new deal maximize the return especially in a deep draft.
