NFL Network places Big Ben at No 1 in 2004 Draft QB Class Ranking

For any Steeler fans out there who thinks media outlets like NFL Network secretly "hate" the Steelers, you can at least look at this article as a bit of a silver lining. Eli Manning comes in at second with Philip Rivers taking third. Matt Schaub takes fourth and Luke Mcown takes fifth.

It is nice to see Roethlisberger get his due for once. He's got more rings and is more of a big time game QB than Rivers but he is also more consistent and less likely to have a horrid season than Manning. Ben does more with less. The writer of the article also believes that Big Ben has at least five more good years left in him which is obviously good news for Steeler fans.

Writer Gil Brandt has actually seen what Steeler fans already know and what other mainstream journalists seem to ignore. How Ben had a statistically great season last year despite the Steelers 8-8 record or how his relationship with Todd Haley is actually increasing as opposed to crumbling like people like Ian Rapaport assume.

You can check out the article in the link below but of course, a Steeler fan already knows how special Big Ben Roethlisberger is anyway.
