It is official. Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount have both been officially cited with marijuana possession.
As the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports, the Pittsburgh Steelers running back tandem were cited after a police officer smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle Wednesday afternoon before the team charter departed for Philadelphia.
On top of the possession charges, Bell was also charged with a DUI, as he was the driver of the vehicle.
The Steelers are preparing to play the Philadelphia Eagles in their third preseason game on Thursday night, and although Bell didn't make the team charter to Philadelphia, both he and Blount are expected to not only be in attendance, but are reportedly will play against the Eagles.
The two players will most likely be hearing from commisioner Goodell's office in New York, but how long that will take is up for debate as the charges differ and it is both player's first offense.
