Game Day Rituals & Superstitions: What's Yours?

We've all heard of athletes with bizarre superstitions and quirky game day rituals. I think some of my favourite sports stories involve players who've gone to ridiculous extremes in an effort to summon whatever good fortune the cosmos has to offer. Hockey fans will remember Patrick Roy, the great NHL goaltender with a penchant for talking to his goal posts all night long, and then tapping them with his stick whenever they had saved his bacon. Wade Boggs had so many superstitions that it's hard to pick out any one kookier than the others. And then there's Lyoto Machida, the MMA fighter, who believes that drinking his own urine every morning will help him overcome any obstacle. I won't be the one to tell him otherwise.

This FanPost is partly for research purposes, partly for shits 'n giggles. I'm curious to know how many Steelers fans are superstitious and/or 'ritualize' game days. Give me some examples of what you've been known to do in the past. Do your rituals work? Also, feel free to share any interesting anecdotes you might know about obsessive athletes (or fans) and their mysterious ways.

Stay thirsty, my friends. Good times are coming.
