OH HOW THE MIGHTY HAVE FALLEN!

So, who's still left in the 4th round? Def. some names you wouldn't expect.

I wish I could go back in time 3 days and post an article, front page, on BTSC with this title:

Jaylon Smith and Myles Jack taken in top of the 2nd round by Dallas and Jacksonville, Andrew Billings still on the board in the 4th round.

I think that would've caused some well-respected members of this community to question life as we know it. What's that? Billings has a knee problem? No, I don't think that's accurate. And even if it is, a knee problem looks to be a prerequisite for a 2nd round pick these days anyways. But that's why you have to love the draft right? Totally unpredictable.

Now, let's talk about who the Steelers could be eyeing in the 4th round.

We only need to look at the top 40(ish) players in order to pick out some of the more prominent names that the Steelers have expressed interest in.

If I had to waged a guess, I think Devontae Booker, Pharoh Cooper, and maybe even Charone Peake have to be high on their list at this point.

If we are still talking defense, there are still some good safeties and corners on the board: Kalan Reed, Jeremy Cash, Jalen Mills, Harlan Miller, D.J White, Miles Killebrew, Tavon Young, Tyvis Powell.

Could they, would they, double dip at either position? I would, given some of the talent still available.

I still think they need to pick up a DE and OLB for depth purposes. Could see a "Brett Keisel-esque" 7th round grab with the likes of Dean Lowry. Maybe 6th round?

Not sure I see a good enough DE to take in the 4th round (sorry Matt Judon) but if Joshua Perry is still on the board I wouldn't hesitate to pick him up.

And what if Billings continues to fall to the 123rd pick?

I know, we picked up Hargrave. Time to address other needs. But why not double up with (what most on this site called) a top 15-20 talent in the draft. IF we ever run a 4-2-5 having both Hargraves and Billing inside with Tuitt and Heyward (or Dupree as weak-side DE) outside would be a formidable force.

With all the talent still on the board I wonder if the Steeler would give up a future pick just to get another 4th rounder. I know the Browns are still stockpiling picks for the future and have 3 or 4 picks in the 4th round.
