An Interesting Thing I Found And Draft Stuff

There have been multiple commenters saying that the Steelers only draft a small amount of all the players they meet with. 2/7 isn't bad (last year I believe). I saw this online. It shows who they have met with. There is a key in the bottom left.

Derek Rivers and Patrick Mahomes II look like our most met with prospects. Davis Webb and Nathan Peterman are some other guys I like.

Some Other Draft Stuff:

Draft Needs: EDGE, CB, S, QB, WR (If Bryant doesn't come back, if he does we don't need a WR), DL Depth

Josh Jones may be a second round pick for us. He, to me and Shamarknado, look like a more athletic and playmaking version of Mike Mitchell.

Another thing, Josh Dobbs may be one of the best QBs in this draft, but we SHOULDN'T draft him. I think he will be great, but he doesn't fit what our QBs do. If we were to draft him and him to do what he does best, run, we would have to change our entire offensive line. Our OL isn't fit to handle a scrambling QB.

Kai Nacua seems overrated. I haven't seen much, but based on his stat line for a safety, he isn't a particularly good tackler, good playmaker, but doesn't get his hands dirty enough. Again, if I am completely wrong say so in the comments and send a link to a video. But, DO NOT SEND ME A HIGHLIGHT VIDEO. I hate highlight videos. What I usually do is look up a person's name vs. (Ex. Deshaun Watson vs) and a video will show up against a team on pretty much every down. It shows how he will play in an average game vs just his best plays. Back to Nacua, he doesn't have much competition to verse. He isn't playing top end teams. He would be worth maybe a fifth, personally at the moment.

Next, Shaquill Griffen looks like an absolute monster. He isn't very good in man, but that is fine because we run mostly zone. I have heard we want to play more man, but I really don't think we should play much more, a little is fine. He runs fast and his biggest issues are in man coverage. He has good close-range burst, which is good for zone. He has good speed and height. He would be a steal.

Donnel Pumphrey. I haven't seen much on him in a while. He had a horrendous combine, but still had the most rushing yards in the NCAA I believe. Does San Diego State have that good of an O-Line, or is he just that good?

James Conner is going to be great. That is all that needs to be said.

We really shouldn't draft a QB outside of Patrick Mahomes, Deshaun Watson (Watson falling to us would be the day the Patriots trade us Stephon Gillmore, then him cutting his contract down to 5 years 5 million dollars, then Tom Brady falling in a well and when Belicheat looked for him, he fell into the well too, then both of them starving to death), or maybe Peterman with our second 3rd or our 4th rounders.

WE DON'T NEED A TIGHT END IN THE FIRST 4 ROUNDS! We are assuming that OJ Howard doesn't fall to the second or third, because then we would have no choice but to take him. We have James, who is more like Heath than you think. Heath never was a speedster, he had pretty good speed, but no Ladarius Green speed. James doesn't either, James is pretty fast when running just straight line speed. He is reliable, in this case meaning James will usually catch a pass when thrown to him, like Heath. Heath was WAY more reliable of a pass catcher, but this was only James's second year. Both can block, but Heath was better. You can't expect a 5th round pick to be nearly as good as Heath, a top 5 TE in history. We also have Green, when healthy spreads defenses. I do understand the word WHEN. We also have Grimble, a great red zone threat.

Chris Godwin may drafted by us, looking back at that board. He has good size. That's about it.

Comment what you think about what I said about our needs and each player.
