Episode 5: Black and Gold

+

03:51 – The Steelers' black and gold faithful find a way to celebrate their favorite team at work and for a good cause.

moment in time: tom dempsey's 63yarder

+

this is a nice piece on the anniversary of the 63 yarder by dempsey... for the video of tom dempsey (tom, not his foot), seth did a nice job with the interview... i'm not sure if they edited it that way, but it was nice how they only talked about tom the kicker for nearly the whole video... they didn't talk about his foot until at the very end, and dempsey brings it up. the man is a kicker first. his foot and arm condition are secondary to the man. nice job espn. also, i didn't know tex schramm had said that dempsey "handicap" was an unfair advantage to dempsey... incredibly stupid. nice that he apologized though, but still a totally asinine statement... also, the first time i saw espn do a feature like this, it was this link here some random interception.

Antonio Gates injured Plantar Facia

1

I suffered an inflamed Plantar Facia years ago (a Tae Kwon Do injury) and was still limping 6 months later. Gates has a tear. I don't know what that means but it cannot be good.

Where are they now? Chad Brown and Neil O'Donnell

Interesting article, some big time college players on that list, all of which are in different fields now. (Get it O'Donnell?)

Post Gazette: Steelers Notebook

The return of Sunny Harris (to the practice squad), the departure of Al Woods (to Tampa Bay), and the imminent return of Brett Keisel are the topics today.

"He has all the power, and that might be part of the problem."

"He has all the power, and that might be part of the problem."

Troy Polamalu on Roger Goodell. What is clear here, is that a crucial part in every union/ employer relationship is noticeably missing in this equation.

NFL Network's Top 100 Players Finale Tonight

2

(SPOLIER ALERT: THE LINK CONTAINS THE TOP TEN) Tonight at 9pm EST the NFL Network will air it's final part in the multi-part series ranking it's Top 100 All Time Players. The link also contains the whole list, for our debating pleasure. I really liked this series so far, and have enjoyed both the highlights of the players themselves and the well done presentations by different fans and other athletes who played against, with, or because of the players on the list. Thoughts on the list? Anyone ranked too high, too low, or missed all together?
