You don't have to ask Pittsburgh Steelers fans their thoughts on their favorite team's Week 3 performance against the Philadelphia Eagles. They likely wear it on their sullen faces as they maneuver their way through another week, hoping Week 4 can get the nasty taste out of their mouths.
Last week the Steelers were road favorites in the city of brotherly love by a 3.5-point margin. Clearly the 34-3 defeat did more than cover the spread. At this point it wouldn't be a shock people don't put too much stock into the early lines coming out of Las Vegas, but what if I told you Vegas is thinking the Steelers will rebound at home in Week 4?
That is exactly what they are saying as the Steelers are anywhere from 4.0 to 5.5-point favorites when the Kansas City Chiefs come to Heinz Field for a Sunday Night Football contest.
The Chiefs, 2-1 and coming off a win over the New York Jets, come to town ready to prove they are again legitimate playoff contenders. They just happen to be coming to Heinz Field with the Steelers extremely banged up. Not only will Ladarius Green, Senquez Golson and Bud Dupree miss yet another game, but the likes of Ryan Shazier, Robert Golden and Sean Davis could all miss the Week 4 game, along with others who aren't listed as starters on the team's depth chart.
Either way, Vegas likes the Steelers as slight home favorites in this AFC battle which will kick off at 8:20 p.m. EDT Sunday night on NBC.
