It's likely Sean Spence will make a headline or two tonight and tomorrow.
In his first action since 2012, Spence was all over the field in the Steelers' preseason opener, registering at least four tackles and at least three quarterback pressures in about a quarter and a half of action.
The Steelers defense has played well through the first half with the exception of multiple blown assignments (and a possible hold on defensive end Cameron Heyward) that led to a 73-yard touchdown run by Giants running back Rashad Jennings.
That's the only touchdown in the game to this point, as the Giants took a 13-3 lead into the locker room.
The excitement for the Steelers on offense was provided by a 46-yard gain off a screen pass by Dri Archer on the team's first drive. Ben Roethlisberger played the first series, which had Archer's reception in it, leading the team to their only points.
Steelers wide receiver Markus Wheaton has a nice 10-yard end-around run and a nice reception on a third down in the second quarter.
Other than that, the defense has been the story so far. A bad Brad Wing punt led to the Giants' final three points and have held tough, with the exception of the big run.
