The Steelers (6-2) and the Eagles (7-1) ended the second half of the 2013 season as the two hottest teams in the game. While Philadelphia advanced to the postseason, dropping a heartbreaker to New Orleans at home, the Steelers couldn't overcome their 0-4 start.
Both teams look to carry that momentum into the 2014 season, and will face off in the "dress rehearsal," the third preseason game for each team. It's the one starters typically play the longest, and teams get a good sense of how their rosters will look this season.
The game takes on a different tone with news coming out of Pittsburgh Wednesday of an arrest involving Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount. That likely changes whatever game plan the Steelers may have had, but which running backs will get the most work behind Dri Archer is probably the big talker after the game.
Here are all the details you'll need to watch Thursday's primetime game.
