James Harrison Steelers MVP

James "silver back" Harrison is having a phoenomal year , making the Pro Bowl and now Steelers MVP for the year, He is leading the team in sacks with eight and a half sacks and six forced fumbles. Just wanted to give props to SilverBack for getting the MVP. Also this is my first post, ive been reading the site everyday i like what goes on here good info on this site. Carter will also get second straight start for the free safety position in favor of smith good call tomlin . Verron Haynes also will be playing and hopefully will give ben some extra time for passing and convert crucial third downs that haynes is good at getting .

Big Ben should be
MVP.  Without a doubt.

No disrespect to Harrison, but he's not the reason why we're #1 in the division.  Ben has been playing superbly and doing everything in his power to keep us in games.  Behind that horrendous offensive line, he's been able to have a +100 qb rating.  Amazing.

That's not our story.

Harrison has had a great year
I can only imagine how much better he'll be next year when there is a legitimate pass rush threat on the other side (Woodley).

who voted for mvp
If it was the team, ie the players, then the selection of Harrison is pretty interesting. I'm sure he has the ultimate respect of his teammates and I think you could make an argument that he has been more consistent than Ben this season. But there is no question in my mind that Ben is the team's MVP.
