Steelers Raise Ticket Prices

The Pittsburgh Steelers have raised their ticket prices for the 2008 season. Less desirable seats will now cost between $59 and $90, a slight increase from last year's range of $59 to $74. More expensive club seating will now set Yinzers between $175 and $240, up from $150 to $212.

With the salary cap increasing, the move is only natural for the organization, which ranked 17th of 32 teams last year in terms of ticket prices. Hey, don't complain, it's not like we're fans of the Detroit Lions, who had the gall to raise ticket prices 18.5% in the wake of their 7th consecutive losing season.
