Watch 1975 AFC Championship Steelers vs. Raiders Game

2

For those of you who many have missed it on Dan Gigler's Blog 'N Gold, a fairly complete, commercial free, video of the 1975 AFC Championship Game between the Steelers and the Raiders is available. This game was a classic that in many ways defined the Steelers-Raiders rivalry of the 70's. The hour long video is well worth the investment of your time. Watch it now (before it gets taken down....)

Joe Pa the Steeler?

1

This probably does not come as a surprise to our older bloggers, our resident historians or anyone who's read Maryrose's excellent book, but Peter King plays a bit of the "what if" game by recalling that Joe Paterno could have coached the Steelers, instead of Chuck Noll. What if, indeed?

The Steelers History vs. the 49ers

Lake’s latest career move also confirms a quiet transformation of the NFL’s defensive coaching landscape -- the Rise of the Dick LeBeau Coaching Tree. 6

But the Steelers experience reveals why such thinking is folly. Click above to read why.
