I'll be heading out to the game this weekend with some friends.  We also plan on going to College Gameday.  We wanted to make a sweet sign, but havn't thought of anything awesome yet.  Some of the ideas I've been thinking about include:

-something about Ohio State choking in big games

-something about Ohio State completely ruining the big ten's image

- making fun of their "Scarlet Fever"

-something about Penn State being on a mission to break streaks like Michigan and now winning in columbus

-then the always classic "ohio is a fake state"

If anyone has any good ideas, feel free to share.

So reading the "help wanted" fanpost gave me a good idea: ask the briliant citizens of BSD HD for their adive.  My friends and I are planning on making the trip out to columbus for the Ohio State game this year. (despite how bad we might lose)  I was wondering if anyone had any advice about getting tickets at Ohio State.  Has anyone ever gone?  Did you buy tickets ahead of time?  Or did you scalp at game day?  How much did you end up paying?  I started looking online and it seems like all the games at ohio state go for higher prices than those at beaver.  Also did anyone ever have trouble getting a hotel?  I've heard that hotels arn't really a problem like it is in state college because columbus is bigger. 

any advice and help would be much appreciated.

Since we all seem to be in a debating mood right now....

I've been wondering for a while now: will the Michigan game this year, which is easily the biggest home game of the 2008 season be called a 8pm game?  All other homecomings I can remember seem to always be at 3:30.  Why? I really don't know, so if anyone knows why that is, i'd appreciate being enlightened.

Also, do you think a whiteout will be declared since it will be homecoming?  Then if there would be a game to do another white house, michigan would be the game to do it.
