Video: Rashard Mendenhall suspended by Steelers for Week 15 game at Dallas

Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall is suspended for one game, right as the Steelers start a difficult three-game run they'll need to play well in to make the playoffs.

Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall failed to show up at Heinz Field for the Steelers' Week 14 loss to San Diego Sunday, and for that, he's been suspended for one game.

Post-Gazette reporter Ed Bouchette tweeted Mendenhall was told on Wednesday of last week he would not be dressing for the game, so Mendenhall did not show up at all.

RB Baron Batch has been signed from the practice squad to fill his roster spot.

Considering Mendenhall hadn't dressed the last two games, and will now serve a team-imposed suspension, it seems there is a possibility this won't be the last roster move the team will make in regards to their former first round pick.

If he's unable to accept his role as it stands with the team now, what's a one-game suspension going to help?

Under the collective bargaining agreement, teams have the right to suspend a player for up to four games for conduct detrimental to the team.
