Quick Hits...

*In the need of some new Steelers gear? Here's an an idea .

*Green Bay WR Koren Robinson will be heading to jail for 90 days at the end of this season. Robinson was charged with a 2nd DWI earlier this year.

*Chiefs QB Trent Green will miss his third straight start recovering from a concussion. His backup, Damon Huard, led an impressive 41-0 walloping over the 49ers this past Sunday, and will try to keep the ship afloat for another week while Green slowly comes to his senses.

*Uggh...these were the words out of Hines Ward's mouth yesterday: "My hamstring's not going to be 100 percent this year."

Ward was obviously frustrated yesterday and for good reason. Nobody wants to be out there contributing more than him. I do think it's a bit early to say his hammy won't heal all year, but if it's not any better coming off a BYE week, who knows, he may be right.

On a more positive note, Coach Cowher has been encouraged with the recent play of Duce Staley in practice. Cowher said, "I feel like he's getting some of his legs back after watching him practice the past two weeks ."

It's still not clear whether Staley will even be activated this Sunday, as RB Dookie Davenport returned to practice yesterday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game.

*Should the Jacksonville faithful feel as comfortable as they were a few weeks ago? After back-to-back losses, the Jaguars host a pesky Jets team this week. They'll have to take care of business without the services of DT Marcus Stroud and WR Matt Jones. A third loss would drop the Jags to 2-3, and put them on the outside of the playoff picture looking after close to one-third of the season.
