Open Thread: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. San Diego Chargers....

It's been a crazy day of football. The Colts needed some more late heroics from Peyton Manning to comeback to beat the Vince Young led Tennessee Titans at home; the Lions found a way to collapse again in the 4th quarter; the Eagles and Cowboys are still battling it out for supremacy in the NFC East. And that's just a few of the stories.

New Orleans held off a pesky Tampa Bay team to improve their record to 4-1; New England proved they're still a force to be reckoned with and Chicago followed up their impressive game against Seattle last week with an even bigger thumping of the Bills.

The Steelers come into tonight's game desperate for a win. A victory on the road against a solid defense like the Chargers' would be just what the doctor ordered for a Steeler offense that has yet to put it all together for 4 quarters.

It's going to be tough to have sustained success running the football against a Chargers defense that was #1 against the run last year, so it's going to be imperative that Big Ben and his receivers get on the same page early and often in tonigh't ball game.

I'll be around all game providing comments and insights and cheers, so join me throughout the contest.
