A quick thought before calling it a night...One of the reasons I got into blogging about the Pittsburgh Steelers and the NFL in general, is the (in my opinion) lazy and hype-driven coverage ESPN provides. I was just watching SportsCenter and was subjected to Sean Salisbury, Mike Golic, and some other goon talking about who was going to play in Super Bowl 41. Salisbury just said, "The Carolina Panthers are without a doubt, winning the Super Bowl."I suppose the media is supposed to provide prognostications as part of their coverage, but I just astounded to hear these guys declare the Super Bowl participants without mentioning the possibility of injuries derailing their picks. I guess I'm nitpicking. Maybe its just anything that Sean Salisbury says seems to irk me.
