*Hines Ward sat out this morning's session after mildy aggravating a hamstring late in Friday's practice.
*The absence of Ward gave Nate Washington the opportunity to slide into the #1 slot alongside Cedrick Wilson. Once again Washington impressed. I'd stop mentioning this but he keeps making big plays. This time he outran Ike Tayor and Ryan Clark for an 80 yard touchdown. It should also be noted that the ball Ben threw went about 60 yards before Washington ran under it. I'd say Roeth's arm strength is coming around.
*Chukky Okobi and Andre Frazier had at each other for a few moments before Willie Colon (the rookie who got in a fight himself earlier in the week) broke things up.
*Even though the defense gave up a few long balls, they dominated once again in goal-line drills. Willie Parker got several carries and was stuffed before giving way to Haynes. He didn't do much better, losing two yards on third down and failing to get in on fourth.
