Quick Hits....

The Steelers are off this weekend, so let's take a look at what's going on around the NFL a few short days before Week 4.

*Patriots head coach Bill Belicheck had some fun with reporters yesterday. The normally serious Belicheck is trying to keep things loose before their showdown with the 3-0 Bengals.

*Jacksonville back-up RB Maurice Jones-Drew had a breakout day of sorts this past weekend, accumulating over 100+ yards on just 13 carries. He also caught four balls for 32 yards and had over 100 yards returning kicks. Fred Taylor has remained his usual, steady self thus far this year, but expect Jones-Drew to see more action this week against the Redskin defense as Jacksonville tries to diversify their offensive attack.

*Who is Andrew Walter? I don't know either, but apparently he will be making his 1st career NFL start this Sunday against the Browns. This game may be only one of few opportunities for the Raiders to win this year.

*The Arizona Cardinals are struggling to maximize the talent of Edgerrin James . James is asking for the ball, even though he's averaging over 22 carries per game, tied for third most in the NFL. Hmm, does Edge regret leaving Indy already?
