Steelers Lose More Than Game on Sunday

New, comments

In addition to dropping their first game of the season, Pittsburgh lost a number of important players to injury. We should get a better idea about the severity of these injuries today and throughout the week, but here's the rundown of who went down on Sunday:

Casey Hampton (hamstring)

Troy Polamalu (abdominal strain)

Chris Hoke (neck strain)

Bryan McFadeen (sprained right ankle)

That's not counting Hines Ward (knee) and Matt Spaeth (bruised thigh) who were scratched from Sunday's lineup. Here's hoping we can get through this week with a victory and no more injuries before heading into our BYE Week. Hopefully then we can shore up our injur problems and head into the heart of our schedule fully manned.
