Hines Ward Recognized For Off-Field Contributions

New, comments

Hines Ward has been named a The Home Depot NFL Neighborhood MVP for his charitable efforts in the Pittsburgh community. Home Depot recognizes one player a week for 17 weeks during the season, and Mr. Ward was a recent winner.

At the end of the year, one player will be honored as The Home Depot NFL Neighborhood MVP of the Year. Fans can vote online beginning Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 22.

A woman associated with the program was kind of enough to email me pictures of Ward doing his thing in Spring Garden. Thanks to Mandy for sending them along, and congratulations to Hines on adding to his impressive list of on and off the field achievements.
