A few notes on this quiet Tuesday morning before I catch up on some work and finish my taxes.
- You know the NFL is a behemoth of a league when the unveiling of the 2008 schedule has everyone giddy with anticipation. We know who the Steelers will play next year, we just don't know the exact dates, when the BYE week is, etc. Many more thoughts from me on this when it's presented at 2pm EST today.
- AOL Fanhouse is doing a Mock Draft of their own and with the 23rd pick, the Steelers have selected CB Bradon Flowers. Can't say I would pleased one iota if that were to happen later this month in New York City. Any opinions about Flowers? Scroll through the previous selections of their draft if you'd like and you'll notice there's plenty of other talent still available, including RB Jonathan Stewart, DE Quentin Groves, et. al.
- Got a question for Lawrence Timmons? Submit it on the Steelers official website and cross your fingers it gets selected. Report back if it is in fact answered.
- I hope you enjoyed our short Q&A with NFLDraftScout.com's Rob Rang (thanks to BadMaafala with help on the questions). I plan on lining up other interviews this offseason, beginning with main beat reporter Ed Bouchette. Anybody else you'd like us to take a stab at getting on the site? Leave a suggestion in the comments section.
