IX- The Steelers showed that they are the best team in the NFL during Super Bowl XLIII, it's now time for Behind the Steel Curtain to show that we are the best Steeler's blog on the web. Sean's Rambling is having their 1st ever ‘Best Pittsburgh Sports Blog Tournament". Be sure go TO THIS LINK to VOTE for BTSC and be sure to check out some of the other really great Pittsburgh blogs.
X- The NFL Combine workouts start this Saturday with coverage on NFL Network at 11am. Post Game Heroes put together some good scouting on the top 10 offensive linemen in the draft.
XIII- 9 teams have designated a franchise player and all teams have until 4 P.M. E.T. today to franchise a player. Pro Football Talk has a good resource on other possible franchise players.
XIV- My favorite Steeler fight song without a doubt is "Here we go" by Roger Wood. It has just the right amount of cheesiness, and it has become a classic for Pittsburgh fans. Deadspin happened to hear the song at the Victory parade and thought it was horrid. It could be much, much worse, for example the Houston Texan's Fight Song.
XL- A reporter in Dallas is sure that Ben Roethlisberger is better than Tony Romo. I don't see how there is even an argument. Ben Roethlisberger is 2 and 0 in the Super Bowl; Tony Romo is 0 and 2 in his playoff career. But hey all that extra time in January and February gives Tony Romo time to be a good samaritan.
XLIII- Sports by Brooks decides that there isn't enough controversy about the Steelers last two Super Bowl victories and decides that they should question whether the Steelers cheated in Super Bowl XLIII.
