Will the Pittsburgh Steelers have yet another former player enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame? There's a distinct possibility, that's for sure. The Hall of Fame announced the 26 semi-finalists up for consideration for enshrinement in 2012. Included in the list of 26 are the following former Steelers legends:

Jerome Bettis, RB -- 1993-95 Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams, 1996-2005 Pittsburgh Steelers

Dermontti Dawson, C -- 1988-2000

Donnie Shell, S -- 1974-1987

Kevin Greene, who played three years for the Steelers in the middle of his career, is also a semi-finalist.

And, as we noted earlier this summer, Jack Butler is up for consideration as one of two Seniors Committee nominations for the '12 Class.

So, what do you think? Check out the entire list of semi-finalists and decide if you think that the Steelers add a 25th player or member of the organization to receive the ultimate individual accolade in 2012. Remember though that between four and seven are enshrined each year, with no more than five being modern era players.
