Where'd this week go? Anybody? Not that I'm complaining, but here we are at the end of the week and quickly approaching Sunday's pivotal matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens. Despite beating the New England Patriots fairly convincingly, the Steelers are considered bigger long shots to hoist the Lombardi Trophy in February. Here's the teams with the top-five best odds to win SB XLV:
- Green Bay Packers: 13/5
- New England Patriots: 6/1
- Pittsburgh Steelers: 9/1
- Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, New Orleans Saints: 12/1
To give you a sense of just how variable these SB futures odds are, here's how they've trended recently for the Steelers:
- Preseason Odds: 13/1
- Last Week: 14/1
- This Week: 9/1

If you're inclined to take Pittsburgh to win it all, I'd say wait until the next loss comes, whether that's this Sunday, the following weekend in Cincinnati, or whenever. Of course, you run the risk of the Steelers running the table from here on out and that 9/1 number falling even more, but more than likely they'll lose at least once more, and when they do, you'll get that number back in the 10-12/1 range, if not higher.
Here's a few fun futures and prop bets involving the Steelers, the first of which I think may very well materialize.
