BTSC Steelers Six Pack: Moving on to the Bengals Edition

IX -Mark Kaboly has filed his weekly 'Upon Further Review' piece about the Steelers' 23-20 loss to the Ravens last Sunday night. Lots in this week's edition from Kaboly.

X - If you can stomach it, tune in to 'NFL Turning Point' on Versus on Wednesday night to watch the weekly show produced in conjunction with NBC's Football Night in America. The show, which is hosted by Dan Patrick, is transitioning to the 10 pm est slot on Wednesday's beginning this week and running through the rest of the 2011 NFL season. According to the press release for the show passed on to me this week, this week's episode features an in-depth look at the latest addition to the Steelers-Ravens rivalry, as well as commentary about what Pittsburgh needs to do to win the division.

XII - Dale Lolley looks ahead to the Steelers' Week 10 road game against the Bengals, with a particular eye on how Dick LeBeau's defense will try to end the string of mistake-free performances turned in by rookie quarterback Andy Dalton.

XIV - Non-Steelers related, but a nice breakdown by Matt Bowen of the National Football Post about how to defend against play-action near the goal line.

XL - We'll get into his more, particularly during the bye week following this Sunday's game against the Bengals, but the Steelers red zone woes continued during Sunday's loss to the Ravens. The Steelers are now ranked 22nd in touchdown efficiency inside opponents' 20 yard line.

XLIII - Cincy Jungle comments on the special bond forming between Dalton and offensive coordinator Jay Gruden. We'll get a chance to speak with one or two of the primary authors at Cincy Jungle during Thursday's podcast.
