SB XLV Postgame Quick Recap: Steelers Fall Short of Seventh Super Bowl Title, Fall to Packers 31-25

It wasn't meant to be for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Gunning for their seventh Super Bowl championship, the Steelers couldn't overcome three costly turnovers, all of which led to Packers touchdowns. The Steelers almost pulled off the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history as they got the ball one final time with just under two minutes to play down by six. After picking up a first down on the initial play of the final drive, Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers flamed out and Green Bay was two quick kneel downs from their fourth Super Bowl and thirteenth league title in franchise history. Credit Green Bay for protecting the football all game long. After nearly muffing the first punt return of the night, the Packers protected the ball for the rest of the evening which made it that much tougher for the Steelers to come back. I'll be back with more here in just a bit, but we'll use this thread to mourn the disappointing loss for the black and gold.
