This past weekend, the community at Mocking The Draft pulled off an impressive feat with a live community mock draft that covered all seven rounds. Thanks to the awesome community engagement features here on the network, participants were able to submit their picks using the commenting system within FanPosts. It looks like our own seton hall and steelers and Steel in FL were the representative for the Steelers. Correct me if I'm wrong on that.
Below you'll find links to the results of each of the seven rounds, but here's a summary of which players were selected by the Steelers.
- Brandon Harris, CB, Miami
- Ras-I Dowling, CB, Virginia
- Lawrence Guy, DT, Arizona State
- Derek Hall, OT, Stanford
- Ian Williams, DT, Notre Dame
- Alex Henry, K, Nebraska
- No pick -- looks like an earlier trade led to no pick in the seventh round.
What do you all think of that haul? For those of you who are craving help in the secondary, I imagine you'd be pleased with the top two picks. We we able to nab Nebraska kicker Alex Henrey, I'm sure plenty would be ecstatic as well. But what about those picks in rounds three through five? Two defensive tackles? Very interesting. Not sure I like that, but Lawrence Guy certainly is a nice prospect. Thoughts?
