Yes, in case you're wondering, I do find it hilarious the NFL opened up Pro Bowl voting the same day they ran a story on their web site about getting rid of the Pro Bowl entirely.
The point is, though, Pro Bowl voting is now open. In what looks like the first year in a while no Steelers defensive player will draw Pro Bowl interest, one has to think quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has earned consideration. Heath Miller as well. Those guys will probably need help getting in, so give them a vote.
Some fringe consideration guys...
LG Willie Colon - Still pretty amped about his performance in Week 6. People are still going to be all hacked off about the penalties called against him. Don't care. Ask Mr. Burfict what Colon can do to you.
FS Ryan Clark - arguably the most valuable defensive player in the league right now. Perhaps the only Steelers defensive player whos' put up strong performances in each game he's played this season.
LB Lawrence Timmons - may need a bit more help, so a few big-impact games would help his ballot chances.
Who else? Discuss!
