The Steelers traditionally struggle with the Eagles, and today isn't likely to be anything less than a hotly contested battle of attrition between two good football teams.
Helping that battle of attrition is the Steelers best attritional ally, James Harrison.
The Silver is Back.
Look for James Harrison to make an impact on this game. The time he's missed has only made him angry, and Demetress Bell is in for a very difficult battle.
Steelers running back Chris Rainey will also take on more of a prominent role. Whether he makes a play or even gets the ball frequently remains to be seen, but Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley has to like his rookie's chances in the flats against the linebacking unit of the Eagles. Knock on wood he hangs onto the ball, but this kind of defense (man coverage on the outside) can lead to opportunities in the shorter field.
The Eagles are well-coached on both sides of the ball, and this one figures to be one of the best games this weekend, so strap in, work those game-time rituals for all they're worth and stick around BTSC for the game.
