After a real slow start to the game and a flag-fest in the 1st quarter, the Steelers look to have settled in and have a 10-0 lead.
Quick thoughts:
- First quarter flag-fest - Steelers had 5 penalties against them accepted for -66 yards. Flags came on offense, defense, AND special teams, and this was JUST the 1st quarter.
- Mendy's TD in debut - does his knee look fine to you?
- Vick's fumble fingers - It may just be me, but it seems like every time Vick has tried to scramble up the middle, he's coughed it up. He was fortunate that the first one was ruled down-by-contact, when Larry Foote's foot barely grazed him milliseconds before the ball popped loose, but Vick properly lost the other two that he coughed up after that.
- Injuries catch up again - We were so happy coming into today that our injury report was pretty much clear. Then Troy has to hop off the field on one leg, favoring his troubled right calf again. Return questionable. Then Woodley comes off with a right hamstring injury. Return also questionable.
With two defensive stars out again, who do you think mans up and carries the load in the second half?
