Woodley does not practice Monday, Harrison, Sylvester, Mendenhall limited

Dale Zanine-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

The Steelers have Tuesday off, but practiced Monday in wake of Thursday's game at Tennessee.

Not surprising, outside linebacker LaMarr Woodley did not practice Monday, and steps closer to missing his first game of the 2012 season - and his seventh missed game out of the Steelers' last 12, dating back to last season.

Limited in practice were running back Rashard Mendenhall (knee), Stevenson Sylvester (knee) and James Harrison (knee), all of whom were coming off their first game played this season the previous day.

Safety Troy Polamalu has already been ruled out for Thursday's game.

No other Steelers appeared on the short week injury report, suggesting that, while possibly tired, they'll be healthy heading into a key AFC game.

The Titans previously ruled out quarterback Jake Locker, giving Matt Hasselbeck his second consecutive start. Hasselbeck was under center in Pittsburgh's 38-14 win over the Titans in Pittsburgh last season. His last previous start against the Steelers was in 2007, when the Steelers blanked the Seahawks 21-0. Hasselbeck was 13-for-27 for 116 yards and an interception.
