Point spread on Ravens at Steelers goes from -4.5 to +3 in wake of Ben Roethlisberger injury

A seven-point swing obviously influenced by the absence of Roethlisberger may fall more as the week continues.

The gambling community certainly noticed the injury to Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

After opening at -4.5, the Steelers are now three point underdogs, according to Odds Shark, and could fall even more.

In their opening line, Odds Shark wrote:

The Pittsburgh Steelers will look to extend their overall winning streak to five and their home winning streak to eight when they host the Baltimore Ravens Sunday night at Heinz Field. Pittsburgh is 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS over its last four games and 14-1 SU and 10-5 ATS over its last 15 home games.

The Steelers may be without starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger who left Monday night's game with a shoulder injury. Baltimore is 2-0 SU and ATS in its last two games overall and in its last two games against the Steelers.

Even with the threat of the injury, they still marked the Steelers as 4.5 point favorites. Betters are singing a different tune now, as Roethlisberger reportedly will not play against the Ravens. (Looking for Pittsburgh Steelers tickets?)
