The Pittsburgh Steelers' injury situation went from alarming to nearly humorous Sunday, as they lost left guard Willie Colon before the game, and outside linebacker LaMarr Woodley (ankle) early into it. They lost right tackle Mike Adams (ankle) as well, leaving the Steelers without a back-up offensive lineman in a game for the third time this season.
Adams was carted to the locker room after suffering the injury in the third quarter. No immediate word was given on any of them, and they'll be evaluated as the Steelers recover from this game, and prepare for a Week 13 game at Baltimore.
Without quarterbacks Ben Roethlisberger or Byron Leftwich, Charlie Batch looked old, slow and poor in the loss, throwing three interceptions.
It seems likely Roethlisberger will find a way to get back on the field next week.
Woodley was replaced by Jason Worilds, who took advantage by sacking Browns QB Brandon Weeden twice - his third and fourth sacks of the season. Rookie seventh-round pick Kelvin Beachum replaced Adams when he went down, andDoug Legursky started at left guard for Colon.
