Terrell Suggs tore biceps during Steelers 23-20 win in Week 13

The reigning Defensive Player of the Year left the game during the Steelers' final drive. It resulted in Shaun Suisham's game-winning 42-yard field goal.

Ravens outside linebacker Terrell Suggs had worked diligently to get back on the field after tearing an Achilles tendon this spring. He came back well ahead of schedule, and is beginning to take shape for an improving Ravens defense.

During the Steelers final drive, one that resulted in the game-winning field goal, Suggs left the field, and didn't return.

Reports are indicating Suggs tore a biceps, and the injury could lead to more time lost for the reigning Defensive Player of the Year.

The Ravens certainly could have used his help on the final drive. Quarterback Charlie Batch was 5-for-5 on the drive, and wasn't sacked. The Steelers moved 51 yards on 12 plays, setting up Shaun Suisham's 42-yard game-winning field goal.

The Ravens are playing coy with the amount of time he may miss, if any. Dolphins OLB Karlos Dansby is currently playing with a torn biceps.

If the season ended after Week 13, the Steelers would be back in Baltimore for an AFC Wild Card playoff game, with the Ravens as the 3-seed and the Steelers as the 6-seed.

There are four games to play, including what is, right now, the biggest remaining game in the AFC, Cincinnati at Pittsburgh, in Week 16. The Bengals are in seventh place in the AFC playoff race by virtue of the Steelers' 24-17 win at Cincinnati in Week 7.

The Steelers host San Diego, the Bengals host Dallas and Baltimore is at Washington in Week 14.
