We've weighed in on rookie NT Alameda Ta'amu and his struggles to walk a mile in his shoes (or bare feet, maybe). There are a few minor injuries being reported, notably to Heath Miller and Jeremy Kapinos, but nothing at this point to worry about.

We'll see what the day brings, though. And what better way to do it than with another rousing BTSC Open Thread?

Stop in, give us a take or two on camp so far, and what you're looking forward to seeing leading up to the Steelers' first preseason game, a road contest at Philadelphia Aug. 9.

The news has been, as expected, centered around the offense to this point. Bangin' and bruisin' seems to be back, but it's not as if the defense won't respond accordingly. The fact OLB James Harrison hasn't practiced yet, or his back-up, Jason Worilds, could lead to a spot-play opportunity for Chris Carter.

And how about that Isaac Redman? Did he just serendipitously inspire me to write his name?

Yes. Yes, he did.
