Jets vs. Steelers 2012: Ben Roethlisberger Outplays Mark Sanchez, Leads Convincing 27-10 Week 2 Win (via sbnation)
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger hit Heath Miller on a one-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter, and twin Shaun Suisham 45-yard field goals are giving the Steelers a 13-10 lead over the Jets in Pittsburgh.
Roethlisberger is 13-for-16 for 148 yards and the touchdown to Miller, and is an Antonio Brown drop from being 14-for-16.
The defense has prevented a few big play chances taken by the Jets down the field. The unit has improved since two opening drives gave the Jets their 10 points. They had three penalties that gave the Jets first downs on their first two possessions.
It's getting chippy, particularly between the Steelers receivers and the Jets secondary. Safety LaRon Landry has two hits on Steelers receivers that looked to fit in the definition of hitting a defenseless receiver, but no flag was thrown. He did get a late hit out of bounds penalty on the Steelers' touchdown drive.
This looks like it's going to get far more competitive in the second half, and with Roethlisberger throwing well, the Steelers have to like their chances.
