The Steelers mixed things up a bit along their defensive line in their Week 2 win over the Jets, and the results weren't stellar.

Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau used defensive end Ziggy Hood and sometimes Cameron Heyward as 3-technique tackles often on passing downs on the first two drives, and there was some pressure provided. Out of their base, with Casey Hampton playing the 0-technique, they were dominated on the ground early in the game, Hampton in particular.

There wasn't any report of injury on nose tackle Steve McLendon, but he only played nine snaps.

DE Brett Keisel stood up on a few occasions as well, playing as an outside linebacker in replacement of OLB LaMarr Woodley, who was likely just being subbed out.

OLBs Jason Worilds and Chris Carter played 27 and 25 snaps, respectively, in the absence of James Harrison.

Here are the Steelers' defensive snap totals.
