I'll be on Trib Live Radio at 11 a.m. ET today to talk about, among other things, the Steelers' recent roster moves, including the cuts down to 53 and the practice squad signings.
Interesting to me is the release of Crezdon Butler from Arizona (a.k.a. Steelers West), and what's probably another practice squad season for OG Keith Williams - another Steelers draft pick. It's likely the Cardinals wanted to keep Butler on the practice squad, perhaps in the same fashion the Steelers were trying to, but the Redskins scooped him up.
The flipped script of keeping six running backs (for now) and four wide receivers (for now) changes the team's dynamic. It's the first year they haven't had a running back on the practice squad in a while.
It's easy to log in and listen, click this link, sit back and enjoy the Sunday morning banter.
Today will be extra fun for you, I'm battling a pretty nasty illness of some kind, probably bronchitis, and sound like a 55-year-old roadie who's been on tour for the last six months.
