If the NFL wanted proof that Weslye Saunders is not taking his Adderall - the drug that allegedly got him suspended for not reporting his prescription of the ADHD medication to the league - all it needs to do is look at Twitter.
Saunders mentioned with a twinge of surprise that he wasn't aware the Steelers actually have to be playing a game in the week for it to count against his suspension.
The Tweet has since been removed.
So he'll still sit Week 5 against Philadelphia, Pittsburgh's fourth game of the year. That's four games in five weeks, meaning Saunders is eligible to return in preparation for Pittsburgh's Week 6 game at Tennessee.
A jailable offense? Certainly not. Neither was the medication foul-up. He'll still be an important part of this offense upon his return. Hopefully Saunders understands what his role will be better than he understand when that return actually will be.
