Steelers vs. Jets second half open thread

The Steelers take a 9-6 lead into the locker room against the Jets at MetLife Stadium.

The Steelers find themselves in a rare position, holding onto a lead at halftime.

Three Shaun Suisham field goals paced the Steelers' scoring, as the defense has mostly stalemated the Jets to this point. They lead 9-6 at halftime.

The Steelers got sacks from Jason Worilds and LaMarr Woodley - half of their season total - and the defense has only surrendered 46 passing yards.

Ben Roethlisberger has thrown well, despite having below adequate protection for a fifth straight game. He is 15-for-19 for 155 yards, and would have had a touchdown if not for a drop by Antonio Brown in the end zone.

Jets QB Geno Smith threw well on their final drive of the half, leading to their second field goal of the game.

It's a tight, defensive battle, and the Steelers will kick off to start the third quarter. This will be another close game, or so it seems at halftime, and it looks like it will come down to whether the Jets can get to Roethlisberger before he releases the ball. If the Steelers' receivers hang on, they can win.
