It's a long way from 0-4.
The Steelers dropped their first four games of 2013, yet, still have a chance to become the second team in league history to qualify for the postseason despite that starting record.
For that to happen, though, a lot still needs to happen.
First, the Steelers have to defeat the Cleveland Browns at Heinz Field in Week 17. They frequently beat the Browns at home, and likely will be favored to win.
Second, the Jets must defeat the Dolphins in Miami. Not an unreasonable request, considering the late season charge the Jets themselves are on.
Third, the AFC North champion.Cincinnati Bengals must defeat the Baltimore Ravens. With as listless as the Ravens looked in a crushing Week 16 loss to the Patriots that isn't out of the question either.
And finally, the Kansas City Chiefs, owners of the fifth seed in the AFC Playoffs, have to beat the San Diego Chargers on the road.
None.of these are simple tasks, but the Steelers have come this far, they may as well finish it. Besides, if nothing else, a win over Cleveland avoids a losing season and extends their streak of non-losing seasons to 10.
