Fantasy Football Week 14: Which Steelers to sit/start against the Miami Dolphins

It's likely playoff season, so proper analysis of your lineup is critical. Here are some thoughts on the Steelers heading into their Week 14 game against the Miami Dolphins.

Start

WR Antonio Brown - He's the league's leading receiver for a reason. While this is a particularly difficult match-up for him (Miami has only allowed one touchdown to a wide receiver this season) Brown is still among the league's leaders in targets, and will get plenty of opportunities.

Ben Roethlisberger - We've bet against him too many times. We just can't do it again, even if he's going to be throwing right into the teeth of a nasty Dolphins defense. They've had at least one interception in their last eight games.

Le'Veon Bell - The only issue here is whether the Steelers can get him involved and moving early. It took them a half to make him effective against the Ravens in Week 13, and he was a broken helmet flying off from a completely legal hit from a two-touchdown game. The Steelers drafted him for games like this, and they're going to lean on him.

On the Fence

Heath Miller - the Dolphins give up touchdowns to tight ends (not wide receivers). The return of Matt Spaeth should give the Steelers some flexibility in the red zone, provided Spaeth is able to play significant meaningful snaps.

Shaun Suisham - We thought Suisham was money in Baltimore last week, but for the first time in what feels like forever, the Steelers did not have one field goal made against the Ravens. Some of that had to do with his false start on a 50-yard field goal (we weren't confident he would have made it anyway). Still, the Steelers offense scoring three times in the red zone (five total, if you count only the calls on the field and not overturned on replay) doesn't seem to be the norm.

Steelers Defense - Miami can't protect its quarterback and the Steelers get LaMarr Woodley back to go with the red hot Jason Worilds. That can lead to some production via sacks and takeaways. Ryan Tannehill has thrown 13 interceptions in 12 games.

Don't Start

Emmanuel Sanders - The Steelers gave him a chance to be the hero throughout their Week 13 game against Baltimore, but he failed to come up with the big plays needed. While it's hard seeing Roethlisberger flat-out ignoring him, is he going to go his way a bunch? Not likely.

Jerricho Cotchery - the Dolphins just take away a lot of what receivers do against them. It's an outstanding pass defense, and Cotchery can't be trusted.
