McShay Mock Draft has Jarvis Jones going to the Steelers at 17

Browns take Notre Dame tight end Tyler Eifert at No. 6, but the Steelers stay true to most predictions.

It isn't exactly a surprise, but heading into the first round of the NFL Draft Thursday, Georgia outside linebacker Jarvis Jones appears to be the consensus favorite.

Scouts Inc., and ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay posted version 5.1 of his mock draft Monday, putting Jones to the Steelers at 17. His rival Mel Kiper (for lack of a better term), has the Steelers taking Notre Dame tight end Tyler Eifert, while McShay actually has Eifert going at No. 6 overall to the Browns. Interesting...

Missouri defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson falls all the way to No. 18 in McShay's draft, and Tennessee wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson going No. 21 to Cincinnati. The Jets, who just acquired the Buccaneers 1st round pick (No. 13 overall, in the trade for cornerback Darrelle Revis), are taking Barkevious Mingo at 9, and WR Tavon Austin at 13.

Your thoughts...good pick(s)? Bad? Completely awesomely outrageous, or something that could undo the fabric of the Steelers organization for years to come?
