Steelers to wear throwback jerseys once in 2013, which game will it "bee?"

Steelers president Art Rooney II said the Steelers will only wear their throwback jerseys for one game in 2013, so which one will it "bee?"

Steelers president Art Rooney II confirmed the Steelers will only wear their throwback jerseys - the ever-popular criminal bumblebee ones - once in 2013.

The question becomes which game will it be?

Typically, they've used them in two games, and at least one has been against a division rival and/or in a primetime game.

They broke out the Prison Bees in Week 8 against Washington last year, then wore them again in Week 11 against Baltimore. They defeated the Redskins but lost to the Ravens.

Early favorites for which game it will be have to include their Week 3 primetime game against Chicago and their Week 15 primetime game against Cincinnati.

Seems like the Week 4 game in London against the Vikings would be a bit too much; there's enough going on already. It's always reasonable to assume their home game against Baltimore in Week 7 - CBS's nationally televised game - would be the game of choice, but perhaps the Steelers want to mix it up a little this year.

Had the Steelers beaten the Ravens with the throwbacks on last year, there would be a reasonable outcry to wear them for two games this year. It's curious why they're deciding to only wear them once - to be honest, they kind of grew on me, if for no other reason than the idea of looking awful together carries with it a feeling of bonding and unity.

What say you?
