Steelers cancel Monday's OTA practice, will still have some kind of team activity

The Steelers will continue a tradition of cancelling practice in favor of a team-bonding activity, says Post-Gazette reporter Ed Bouchette.

Accoridng to Post-Gazette reporter Ed Bouchette, the Steelers will forego a formal practice today, and will "go bowling or something" instead.

This is a tradition the team has had since the days of Bill Cowher, and in wake of recent news regarding right tackle Mike Adams, it could be the best decision for the team.

The Steelers begin their final round of OTAs, which technically still start Monday and run through Thursday of this week.

Steelers right tackle Mike Adams was stabbed in an alleged robbery attempt over the weekend, and is expected to be out until training camp. The Steelers are expected to put either Kelvin Beachum or newly signed free agent Guy Whimper at right tackle until Adams is able to return.
