The Steelers whipped through their rookie contracts Monday, inking three of the four draft picks they had not yet signed.
They gave a $8.5 million contract to Jarvis Jones, including a $4.7 million signing bonus, and a fifth-year team option, contract. They also came to terms with second-round pick RB Le'Veon Bell and seventh-round pick DE Nick Williams.
Jones, a quarterback from Oklahoma taken in the fourth round, is expected to sign very soon. He and Jarvis Jones are not related.
After a day off of sorts, the Steelers are back on the field for the first full practice of the finals OTAs session. The Steelers will continue practice through Thursday, and plan to hold their full team minicamp June 11 in Pittsburgh.
