The Steelers will hold training camp at St. Vincent College for the 48th consecutive year, but rain has delayed early preparations at the school, writes Tribune-Review reporter Stacey Federoff
Those preparations couldn't be delayed unless it meant training camp was just a few weeks off. That seems more like the story here.
Soon, the Steelers will invade Chuck Noll Field and begin preparations for the 2013 season. We're past the Fourth of July and with the Midsummer Classic sitting right around the corner, it's hard thinking the first preseason game (the most anti-climactic event of the year) is under a month away.
Federoff highlights several aspects of the upcoming camp, including facility upgrades, food choices for players and the favorite of St. Vincent executive vice president, Rev. Paul Taylor, left guard Ramon Foster.
Stay tuned to Behind The Steel Curtain in the coming days for the announcements leading into the start of training camp, including details surrounding The Renegade, release date midnight ET July 26.
